The Skirball Cultural Center seeks a team player with superior communications skills for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Advancement. The Advancement department is responsible for advancing the mission of the Skirball through increased fundraising. Responsibilities include: processing donations; sending out invoices, receipts, and thank you letters; tracking and updating donation reports; gathering, maintaining, and researching information about potential donors; assisting with preparation of grant applications; and managing multiple databases, ensuring that accuracy and integrity of information is maintained. Four-year college degree and two years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative role within a corporate or preferably nonprofit or cultural environment. Excellent computer skills, including solid experience using Raiser’s Edge, Excel, and FileMaker Pro, required. Please refer to the website www.skirball.org for more details.
