The City of Irvine seeks an experienced, energetic, organized and creative individual to help implement the Orange County Great Park’s innovative Arts and Culture Center development plan, which includes a new 3,800 sq. ft. gallery space and a series of artist-in-residence programs in 6,400 sq. ft. of studio space. The Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing a variety of art exhibits, events and receptions that highlight the arts, culture and local heritage. Requires Bachelor's degree with some experience in municipal management, or equivalent. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Studio Art or Fine Arts and experience in municipal or nonprofit arts management are preferred.
