Location: P.S. ARTS Offices, Los Angeles
POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision by the Program Manager, the Program Associate provides administrative, evaluative, and logistical support for the Program department’s activities. This is a temporary part-time position with the possibility of growth into a permanent position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide administrative support for P.S. ARTS’ Program Team, including, but not limited to, maintaining calendar, coordinating meetings, managing faculty professional networking site, and ordering supplies
* Perform data entry and create reports for Director of Programming
* Shoot, archive, and edit video footage of programs
* Coordinate and maintain logistics including supply budgets, inventories and databases
* Process check requests and track expenditures to submit to Finance department
* Research arts education issues and current events, and contribute to department newsletter
* Archive images of student work, grant documentation, surveys and program video
* Other related projects and general office support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
* Interest in and commitment to the P.S. ARTS mission
* Experience working in an arts education setting a plus
* Intermediate/Advanced Excel and other Office suite skills
* Some knowledge of data analysis and statistics a plus
* Familiarity with iMovie
* Ability to help develop arts education curriculum a plus
* An eye for filmmaking and video editing skills a plus
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work cooperatively
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Comfortable with Apple operating systems
* Creative problem solver and self-directed
* Strong editing skills helpful
* English/Spanish bilingual a plus
* BA or BS degree

Salary: $16/per hour, 24 hours per week
